Right now, the drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway between Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain is really lighting up with fall color! We will see more acceleration in autumn hues as the cooler weather continues over the next few days. Today’s image is a good example of color found in most places around 4000 feet in this area. It’s gorgeous, but still has some filling in before anyone would consider it peak color.
