This morning at Rocky Knob Bike Park, the sun was lighting up the trees on the slope. Rocky Knob was built for both mountain bikers and hikers, and the trails here are just beautiful. It looks as though peak color can be found on this slope, as some other places in the area are waning. If you get a chance, stop by Rocky Knob to enjoy the trails. The facilities include a fantastic playground, picnic area, and restrooms. It’s located just east of Boone on Highway 421.
