The Blowing Rock Art and History Museum (BRAHM) presents its ninth annual Art and Antiques Show Friday, July 31 through Sunday, August 2. This year’s event will be the biggest and most wide-ranging yet, with vendors from eight states offering a wide variety of items for sale, according to BRAHM organizers.
A partial list of items available for purchase includes mid-19th to mid-20th Century American and European paintings, antique clocks and music boxes, period furniture, vintage linens and textiles, maps, estate jewelry, silver, equestrian and sporting pieces, rugs, porcelain, pottery, lighting fixtures and more. Art and Antiques Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets to the show, which are good for entry throughout the weekend, are $10 and may be purchased at the door, on line at blowingrockmuseum.org or by phone at 828-295-9099. The Art and Antiques Show begins with an evening Preview Party including an exclusive auction on Thursday, July 30. Cost is $80 per person; advance reservations required.
