At the top of the Tanawha Trail at Rough Ridge Overlook, the weather was much clearer than it was a week ago! And the color has progressed, too. The fall foliage along the ridge is peaking, while the hues fade into a more consistent green on the slopes below. Cooler, sunny mornings are in the forecast this week so color should accelerate well in the coming days at elevations below 4000 feet!
