FREDERICK CRAIG FRANZ – Oil, Soft Pastels
Craig is a self-taught artist who first worked in soft pastels and later in oil. Continuing to use both media, his landscapes depict the beauty of his western North Carolina Mountain home. Working both in the studio and en plein air, Craig paints in an impressionistic style with an emphasis on color and composition. Come welcome Craig back to Blowing Rock during his residency at Edgewood Cottage from July 15 through July 21.
