Head over to Broyhill Park for Live music and a great time. The music plays from 5-7 pm. Bring your own blankets, lawn chairs, and coolers. Free entry and parking at Broyhill Park. Sponsored by the Blowing Rock Civic Association.
Celebrate the Blue Moon by enjoying special after-hours admission to The Blowing Rock Attraction, two beverages (beer & wine), and light refreshments.
This evening will be focused on the dynamic world of High Country rock climbing. BRAHM will be joined by representatives the Carolina Climbers Coalition and filmmaker Andrew Kornylak to view three of his films about the climbing community.
Junior Naturalist Program activities throughout the day will be provided specifically for children ages 5-12 but all ages are welcome! Events are included with admission. It is recommended that those planning to attend purchase their tickets to the park online in advance.
Head over to the Speckled Trout Outfitters with your team and flex your corn hole muscles. Entry is $40 per team and all proceeds go to the Mayfly Project. The tournament will be from 12-5pm. There will be beer, music, prizes, and discounts!
Blowing Rock Farmers Market is back and at a new location! Thursdays from May 18 to October 2023 from 2-6 PM. The ever beloved flower bouquets will be back along with many new vendors!
Head on over to the field next to Blowing Rock Elementary School for their Fall Festival. Bring a blanket and some chairs and get comfy! They will have great food options, carnival games, face painting, silent auctions, and more!
From September 30 through October 8, guests enjoy short, guided nature walks that highlight Grandfather Mountain’s fall colors. The Fall Color Rambles take place daily, weather permitting, and are included in an admission ticket.
Embrace your nocturnal side at Grandfather Mountain through Creatures of the Night & Bonfire Delight, the park’s after-hours program where guests enjoy rare after-dark tours, fireside tales and a chance to meet the park’s nighttime residents.
Family-friendly and casual! Bring a lawn chair or blanket to Memorial Park on Main Street to enjoy the music- all concerts begin at 1pm on Sundays following Art in the Park shows.
Grandfather Mountain’s Fall Color Ramble wraps up with a day full of fall-color activities, including naturalist talks and additional rambles, allowing participants to explore and admire the annual phenomenon.

Note the slopes close at 11:30 on December 31 to prepare for our annual Torchlight show & Fireworks Celebration.

Blowing Rock School is hosting a new annual event with its first-ever Rocket Run on May 24, 2024 from 3 to 6pm at Davant Field. As a start to the summer, the fun-run style event will include a bubble run, food trucks, music, games, bounce houses, a photo booth and more.

Join Ryan, an EMT and active search and rescue member, on this 4-5 hour adventure in Harper Creek Wilderness to see one of the best waterfalls in Western North Carolina, explore an old homesite, and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch provided by The Speckled Trout Restaurant.
