Start by taking a hike. It’s free and only requires a little bit of planning. If you’re already an avid hiker, try horseback riding, white water rafting, or fishing.
Prioritize health over wealth.
Get out, get active, and have that experience. Acquiring things is fine but acquiring experiences is priceless. Hike up on Grandfather Mountain or the Blue Ridge Parkway to get active and see amazing views. Canoe or kayak at the iconic Price Lake and take in the scenery from the water. 44th Trout Derby Kicks Off Spring Recreation
Anglers of all ages and levels are invited to compete for cash and prizes at the 44th Blowing Rock Trout Derby! The Derby will take place in Blowing Rock on Saturday, April 6, from sunrise to 4:00pm.
